Unterrichtsthema: Describing pictures
This is a (short) well structured online course.
In preparation for the speaking task it offers three handouts on strategy and general advice on describing pictures, useful phrases and useful words.
Speaking practice: Here you record your description with the audiorecorder in MS Windows. It might be easier to use the online voice recorder Vocaroo or Audioboo
Another idea would be the use of Audacity for voice recording or the smartphones of your students. (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/?lang=de)
A rather „cool“ idea might be creating speaking Voki avatars (see link for tools).
Review: here you reflect on a sample picture description, on recordings of your classmates and on your own performance (peer assessment, self assessment)
